Terms & Conditions: Customers

Please Note: Program or Session specific Terms and Conditions may apply to certain locations or sessions, please consult these terms directly. 


1. Definitions

· Customer: The parent or legal guardian registering a child into the Program.

· Attendee: The child participating in the Program.

· Program: The school holiday activities facilitated by Skills & Thrills.

· Activity Provider: A third-party organisation contracted by Skills & Thrills to deliver the program.

· Venue: The physical location where the Program is hosted (typically your employer's workplace)  including access to amenities such as bathrooms, drinking water, shelter from weather, and first aid facilities.


2. Parental Consent and Participation

· I confirm I am the legal guardian and give permission for my child to participate in all scheduled activities.

· I authorise Skills & Thrills and Activity Provider staff to obtain emergency medical treatment if required. I will cover associated costs.

· I will not send my child if they are unwell or suffering from a contagious illness.

· I understand staff will not administer medication unless I submit a signed medical consent form co-signed by a general practitioner.

· I authorise staff to apply sunscreen to my child as needed.

· If my child exhibits unsafe or inappropriate behaviour, I acknowledge that they may be sent home or excluded from future sessions. Refunds will not be issued in such cases.

· While inclusive practices are encouraged, Skills & Thrills reserves the right to deny enrolment if a child’s presence poses a risk to others.

· I am responsible for ensuring my child is picked up by the session end time. Late pickup after 5:30 PM will incur a $3 per minute fee.

· I consent to my child leaving the premises to attend supervised outdoor excursions of up to 800m distance, including crossing roads.

· G-rated films may be screened during rest breaks.

· I consent to images of my child being shared internally with my employer unless I notify Skills & Thrills in writing.



3. Registration and Cancellation

· All bookings are final once confirmed via Cvent.

· Cancellations must be received by 3:00 PM, seven (7) business days before the session to be eligible for a refund.

· Skills & Thrills may withhold fees for late cancellations.

· If a session is cancelled due to low bookings or circumstances beyond our control, we will contact you with alternatives.

· Providing false or misleading information may result in registration cancellation without refund.


4. Liability and Third-Party Delivery

· Activities are delivered by third-party providers selected by Skills & Thrills.

· Except as required by law, Skills & Thrills is not liable for injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.

· Any concerns should be reported within 5 business days of the session.


5. Privacy and Data Use

· We collect personal data for safety, health, and administration. This may include your employer, Activity Providers, insurers, or regulators.

· Our practices comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). See our Privacy Policy for more.

· Activity Providers may manage your child’s data under their own privacy policy.


6. Governing Law

· This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
